Tracking widespread rain and an isolated strong storm or two Wednesday
TONIGHT: Skies remain mostly clear into the evening, but high clouds move in ahead of Wednesday's rain chances. Temperatures fall into the 60s.
TOMORROW: Wednesday, a complex of showers and thunderstorms will arrive after sunrise. There will a limited potential for severe storms here. Primarily gusty winds are expected with this activity. Rain will be widespread, but any severe impacts are expected to be somewhat isolated within the complex. Rain may linger into early afternoon, which will help keep highs in the 70s. Another round will develop well southeast of I-44 and become severe, but this round misses mid-MO.
EXTENDED: Thursday is looking mostly sunny, despite the chance at some patchy fog early. Temperatures climb back into the low 80s. Spotty chances for thunderstorms return on Friday and Saturday, but peak on Sunday as a weak front passes through. Next week starts dry. Temperatures may cool a bit Sunday and Monday, but remain in the 80s.
