Tracking drier air and a round of showers by the weekend
TODAY: We'll have variable winds, and abundant sunshine today, as high pressure slides overhead. Expect a high near 80, with low humidity.
TONIGHT: Skies stay clear overnight, as winds slowly return from the south. Temperatures fall into the 50s for early Thursday, and fog is not expected to be as impactful as this morning, if it's an issue at all.
EXTENDED: The rest of the forecast is primarily mild and dry, with a LOT of quality outdoor time forecast. This is, of course, if you enjoy sunshine and limited humidity. Thursday starts sunny, but will transition to some high clouds by the dinner hour. The forecast is trending mostly dry for Thursday, but some rain may show up late in the night ahead of a cold front that is slated to arrive early Friday morning. This will give us our one "rainy" day in the forecast. "Rainy" may be overselling it, as showers are only expected to bring around a tenth of an inch to the region. We may see a drier evening on Friday as this arrives in the early Morning. Saturday looks dry and mild, with highs in the 70s under blue skies. Temperatures slowly climb into the 80s into early next week, with plenty of sun in the forecast there as well.
