Tracking a midweek warmup
TODAY: Tuesday will start mostly cloudy as Monday's cloud cover will still be overhead early. These clouds will break apart and exit throughout the morning. Skies will be mostly clear by this afternoon. This partnered with some south wind later in the day will put temperatures in the mid-40s by the afternoon.
TONIGHT: Winds will stay southerly overnight, and clouds remain absent through sunrise. Temperatures fall to near freezing early Wednesday.
EXTENDED: Wednesday is pleasant with highs near 60. Warmth continues on Thursday, but increasing clouds on Wednesday brings rain by Thursday morning. We'll have a round of morning showers, and a round of showers and storms along a cold front Thursday evening. This will bring up to a half inch of rain before leaving us cold on Friday. If precipitation lingers behind the front, there's some chance of snow mixing in for a brief period, but no accumulations are expected. Highs on Friday through Sunday look to stick in the 30s with dry weather, but Monday marks a return to 40s.
