Tracking showers tonight into tomorrow morning
TONIGHT: Rain likely overnight with gusty winds. Lows in the upper 30s.
TOMORROW: Showers exiting by mid-morning. Breezy with highs in the mid-40s.
EXTENDED: Showers finally start to cut through dry air by this evening, with light to moderate rain continuing overnight. I'm expecting showers to exit to the east by mid-late morning tomorrow, leaving us with spotty sprinkles and plenty of clouds through Wednesday. Temperatures will be a bit cooler, with highs only reaching the mid-upper 40s. The next round of rain moves in after midnight Wednesday into Thursday with widespread showers expected for much of the day. This is where we'll pick up a lot of our measurable rainfall, which will likely end up around an inch before dawn on Friday. Friday is looking dry and breezy with temperatures making the upper 40s for highs. I've increased the rain chances for the weekend with another low pressure system skirting by just to our south, bringing a chance of rain by Saturday night with showers continuing through at least mid-afternoon Sunday. The latest forecast data has pushed this system a bit farther north, meaning the chance for anything wintry is lower as morning temperatures on Sunday look to stay in the mid-30s. Rain totals will end up being between 1-1.5". It's chilly all weekend with highs remaining below average in the mid-upper 40s.
