Tracking overnight showers and wintry mix

Today: Afternoon highs warm into the upper 50s with mostly cloudy skies. Winds remain out of the west at 4-8 mph.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to the mid-30s with late showers beginning by midnight. Just after 4 AM, showers switch to a wintry mix becoming light snow showers.

Extended: Light snow pushes out by 10 AM Thursday morning leaving up to a dusting of snow on elevated and grassy surfaces. Temperatures only warm to nearly 40 degrees by the afternoon hours both Thursday and Friday. Temperatures then begin a warming trend into the weekend with highs eventually reaching the mid-50s by Sunday. Chances of showers increase Sunday night into Monday.
