Tracking an afternoon light drizzle

Today: Afternoon highs warm slightly into the mid-40s with scattered light drizzles remaining around Mid-Missouri until 6 pm. Skies remain mostly cloudy with winds out of the northeast.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to near 40 degrees as skies remain mostly cloudy. Light winds out of the north remain at 4-8 mph.

Extended: Wednesday looks dry with highs into the lower 50s before late evening showers move in from the southwest. Showers become widespread with some heavier downpours expected Thursday morning. Off and on showers remain throughout Central Missouri the rest of Thursday clearing by Friday morning. Increased chances of showers begin once again Saturday night lasting through next Tuesday.
