Tracking a late week warm-up

Today: Afternoon highs remain well below average as winds continue out of the west. However, a slight warming trend kicks off this afternoon as highs slowly climb into the lower 50s. Skies remain mostly sunny.

Tonight: Skies remain mostly clear as overnight lows cool to the mid-30s. Winds begin to switch back out of the southwest at 5-10 mph.

Extended: Temperatures continue to warm-up with afternoon highs eventually reaching into the early 80s by Saturday and Sunday. Skies remain mostly sunny Thursday and Friday before becoming partly cloudy Saturday afternoon. Winds becoming gusty Saturday and Sunday up to 30 mph leading to dangerous burning conditions. A low pressure system moves into play late Sunday leading for chances of more widespread showers with some rumbles of thunder possible into Monday. Temperatures will then begin to decrease heading into the second half of next week with northerly flow returning.
