Tracking a return to a summer-like air mass
TODAY: Starting in the low-to-mid 50s this morning, Monday has a fall-like feel to it. This keeps us in the upper 70's for highs this afternoon, with some crossing the 80 degree threshold. Expect mostly sunny skies, and a light westerly breeze.
TONIGHT: Overnight, winds shift to a more southerly direction, and we stay clear. Temperatures will once again bottom out in the low-to-mid 50s.
EXTENDED: Tuesday morning starts our gradual warm back into summer-like temperatures. Expect low 80s by Tuesday afternoon, with a boost into the middle to upper 80s Wednesday through Thursday, with temperatures reliably in the upper 80s, if not near 90 Friday through Sunday. Mostly sunny skies remain daily, until we see a gradual increase in clouds as a cold front approaches to our west on Friday. An increase to partly cloudy skies may come into play Friday and Saturday, but we should stay dry. Only a slight chance for rain comes with this system, as we look to miss the best chances to our north.
