Tracking scattered showers heading into Labor Day

Tonight: Scattered showers will begin to taper off by late tonight as winds remain out of the northeast at 8-12 mph. Skies remain partly cloud with overnight lows into the mid-60's.

Labor Day: Labor Day begins with chances of early morning fog that will push out of the area by 10 am. The morning begins partly cloudy with chances of scattered showers by noon developing. This scattered showers will persist throughout the afternoon and evening hours. Most areas look to remain dry across Central Missouri, but some places can expect brief downpours. Afternoon highs climb into the low to mid-80's.

Extended: A low pressure system continues to drive chances of scattered showers and storms into the area Tuesday afternoon, finally exiting far to the southeast by late Tuesday night. Conditions begin to dry up by Wednesday morning lasting throughout the rest of the week as highs climb to the mid to upper 80's.
