Tracking a dry week that may end with rain

TODAY: Tuesday is shaping up cool in comparison to Monday. After highs near 100 yesterday, Today starts in the upper 60s and low 70s. With a north breeze, things stay mild this afternoon, with a high in the upper 80s despite abundant sunshine by the afternoon. Humidity stays low thanks to the steady north breeze.

TONIGHT: Calm and clear conditions drop us into the mid 60s as high pressure slides in.

EXTENDED: Surface high pressure sits overhead on Wednesday, as we feel only a degree or two warmer than Tuesday. Skies stay clear, with highs in the low 90s through Friday. By Friday night, our upper level high pressure to the west that has been keeping us dry, starts to collapse. This will bring a chance for upper level waves to dive in from the north. A round looks to move in overnight Friday into Saturday. This keeps a small chance for rain on Friday, and a slightly better chance Saturday and Sunday.
