Tracking strong to severe overnight storms Monday night into Tuesday

Tonight: Skies remain mostly clear with winds calming down to 5-10 mph out of the west. Overnight lows bottom out around 50.

Tomorrow: The ABC17 Stormtrack Team has issued a Weather Alert Day ahead of incoming storms Monday evening. Monday morning begins dry before late morning showers and light storms push in from the southwest. These scattered showers and storms will continue into the afternoon hours before a slight break. Monday evening, a line of storms pushes into Central Missouri ahead of an incoming cold front leading to increased chances of strong winds and hail with a small possibility of an isolated tornado.

Extended: Chances of showers and storms remain with Mid-Missouri throughout the weekend thanks to multiple low-pressure systems. Highs remain in the mid to upper '60s.
