Tracking a less active pattern for the weekend
TODAY: We finally have the sun back today, and it will help warm us up back into the mid-50's. The one thing holding us back will be a continued breeze out of the north.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies and this breeze keeps temperatures cool overnight. Temperatures will drop near freezing by early Saturday.
EXTENDED: North winds will be a common factor all weekend, meaning even with sunshine, temperatures won't warm much. Afternoon highs are forecast in the low 50's both Saturday and Sunday. Monday, we will pick up on clouds as winds shift southerly both aloft and at the surface. Afternoon highs climb into the 60's on Monday, with 70's likely on Tuesday. It's beginning to look like we'll be tracking showers and storms moving in from the west on Tuesday night. That will be the entry of our next large low pressure system, similar to what we experienced just recently. Rain and thunder continues Wednesday, with showers back for Thursday.
