Tracking a chance at some wintry precipitation
TONIGHT: A stout breeze out of the north will keep temperatures in the 30's the rest of the day. Temperatures will drop into the low 20's tonight, with wind chill values in the teens. Winds will start to shift out of the south as we approach Tuesday morning.
TOMORROW: A weak disturbance will bring a chance at some wintry precipitation on Tuesday. A few sprinkles and flurries are possible, but will have to overcome a lot of dry air to make it to the ground. Overall, Tuesday looks like a smooth day for travel. Despite southerly winds, temperatures again are stuck in the high 30s.
EXTENDED: Temperatures are back in the low 40s on Wednesday. The end of the week is looking even warmer with temperatures pushing into the 60’s Thursday and Friday. Our next system of note will be sliding through Friday night, bringing some slim rain chances overnight. More importantly, it’ll knock temperatures back into the 40’s on Saturday before warming up into next week.
