Tracking mild temperatures through Wednesday, some rain for holiday travel
TONIGHT: Mostly clear and chilly with lows in the upper 20s.
TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and breezy with highs in the upper 50s.
EXTENDED: It's been a quiet start to the week so far with clouds clearing out tonight. Temperatures fall back into the upper 20s overnight, but the afternoon is much more mild with highs in the upper 50s. The breeze picks up from the south on Wednesday as a warm front lifts through the area, bringing us into the low 60s before a cold front triggers showers late Wednesday afternoon into the evening. Showers look to exit early on Thanksgiving, but those traveling overnight might run into some delays around the Midwest due to rain on Wednesday night. Rain amounts will end up around 0.5" or less. Thanksgiving is chilly with temperatures struggling to get to 40 in the afternoon, but we can expect clearing skies through the day. Friday is a bit warmer as we get back into the upper 40s, and the weekend is looking dry with highs in the low 50s. Next week starts off warm, but I'll be keeping an eye on a more active pattern as we close out November.
