Columbia College wins seventh-straight AMC title

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Columbia College women's soccer team captured its seventh-straight AMC Championship with a win over Harris-Stowe State University on Thursday night.

The score was stuck at zero all the way until the second half, when Macie Lucas knocked in the game-winning goal.

Later in the night, the AMC announced Lucas as its freshman of the year.

Up next - the Cougars will await their matchup for the NAIA Tournament.
