Tracking lingering showers with more rain this week ahead

Today: Showers continue to push east along with a cold front keeping highs today in the lower '60s. Winds remain breezy today with winds shifting from the west at 12-16 mph.

Tonight: Skies begin to become partly cloudy with winds still strong at 8-12 mph. The overnight low cools to the lower '50s.

Extended: Tuesday will become mostly sunny warming up into the upper '70s as winds return from the south. Tuesday night another low-pressure system fuels showers and storms that will linger in Mid-Mo until Thursday. By Thursday night, the final cold front of the week brings more showers to the area eventually clearing east by Friday night. Temperatures on Saturday and Sunday will be below average with highs in the mid'60s and lows into the '40s. Skies will remain clear thanks to a high-pressure system.
