Tracking a hot Sunday with chances of showers and storms this week

Tonight: Winds remain breezy out of the south at 8-12 mph. Skies continue to stay mostly cloudy with an overnight low of 65 degrees.

Tomorrow: Cloud cover pulls off to the east allowing for mostly clear skies Sunday. Temperatures continue to ramp up with highs into the upper '80s. By Sunday night, a cold front off to the northwest makes its way towards Central Missouri brings with it showers and storms overnight.

Extended: Monday morning, showers and storms will be widespread over much of Missouri with chances of a few strong storms lasting until the early afternoon hours. Showers pull back to the east by late into the afternoon on Monday leading to clear conditions lasting through Tuesday. Multiple fronts move through from Wednesday through Friday leading to multiple showers and storms with highs cooling back into the lower '60s heading off into the weekend.
