Tracking a similar Sunday and dangerous heat returning

Tonight: Winds will slowly continue to shift from the northwest to the northeast with mostly clear skies. The overnight low bottoms out at 64.

Tomorrow: Winds continue to shift from the northeast to the southeast by the end of Sunday afternoon. We will see mostly sunny skies with dewpoints down into the lower '60s leading to decreased humidity. Our high on Sunday will top out at 88 putting us one degree above the average temperature for Mid-August.

Extended: Temperatures will dramatically rise on Monday thanks to the warm southerly flowing winds. The highs will start out in the mid-'90s on Monday and return back into the lower '90s by Friday. The heat index will rise above 100 starting off the work week leading to dangerous feels like temperatures. Chances of scattered showers and storms begin to increase as we head into next weekend.
