Tracking a Dry and Cool Memorial Day Weekend

Today: Yesterday's low has pushed easterly allowing for us to see drier conditions. Temperatures top out in the upper 50's thanks to a northerly flowing wind. We will see mostly cloudy skies throughout the rest of the day.

Tonight: Temperatures bottom out in the lower 40's thanks to the clouds pushing out overnight in conjunction with northerly flowing winds. Heading out the door tonight you might want to take a jacket out with a chilly wind nearing 10 mph.

Extended: Saturday and Sunday our temperatures increase slightly, but we sit well below the end of May average of 79 degrees. Saturday we top out in the upper 60's while Sunday's rises just above 70 which will make for a beautiful weekend to get out and vacation. By Monday, another low-pressure system moves into Mid-Missouri bringing with it warmer temperatures and rain. By late week, we could see a few storms move into the area and we will see a slow temperature increase nearing the average for this time of the year.
