Tracking a warm Wednesday and storms Thursday

WEDNESDAY: It’ll get back to being warm and muggy this afternoon. Highs will top out in the mid to some upper 80’s. A spot storm can’t be ruled out this afternoon but most of us will stay dry.

TONIGHT: Overnight we’ll stay dry but clouds will be on the increase. Lows will fall into the middle 60’s.

EXTENDED: Storms roll in early and often tomorrow. There will be a severe threat with both rounds of storms we’re expecting Thursday. The first looks to move in around 6-7 AM tomorrow and should push out closer to noon. We look to be able to fire up another round 5-6 PM and will be tracking those until about midnight. All modes of severe weather will be on the table, which is why we issued that Weather Alert Day. The severe threat will end after midnight. Memorial Day weekend looks spectacular! We’ll stay dry through Sunday, with highs in the upper 60’s to low 70’s. We’ll pick up a chance of rain on Monday, with highs climbing back into the middle 70’s.
