Tracking a cloudy and chilly afternoon, warmer mid-week

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and chilly with lows in the mid-20s.

TOMORROW: Clouds gradually decrease. Highs in the low 40s with late day sunshine.

EXTENDED: As upper high pressure moves overhead Wednesday, temperatures rise into the low 50s with gusty south winds. Another front moves in from the west on Thursday, bringing rain during the day, followed by a few showers mixed with light snow Thursday night. We're much cooler behind this front with temperatures falling into the mid-upper 30s on Friday with more sunshine. Another disturbance could bring a few snow showers on Saturday, but the bigger impact over the weekend will be gusty winds and cold temperatures. Temperatures Saturday top out in the upper 20s with wind chills in the single digits to low teens. Sunday will be the coldest day, starting off in the single digits with wind chills below zero through mid-morning. Highs reach the teens with gusty winds continuing through the day.
