Tracking light rain tonight, blustery and cold Saturday

TONIGHT: Cloudy with patchy showers overnight. Temperatures fall to around 40.

TOMORROW: Cloudy with spotty drizzle and gusty winds. Blustery with temperatures falling through the 30s by late afternoon.

EXTENDED: The cold front exit the area late Saturday, clearing out precipitation by evening and leaving us colder by Sunday morning. Sunday will feature a bit more sunshine with will remain chilly with highs in the upper 30s to around 40. Another strong low pressure system skirts by just to our south, bringing a chance of showers to areas south of I-44. Elsewhere, we remain dry into Monday. Another system could bring precipitation by Tuesday, and temperatures stay in the upper 30s to low 40s for the first half of the week. We begin a warming trend a week from now as we tip back above normal.
