Tracking colder Tuesday morning with patchy fog

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cooler with lows in the upper 20s to around 30. Patchy fog develops late into Tuesday morning.

TOMORROW: Fog early, followed by more sunshine and warmer temperatures. Highs in the upper 40s.

EXTENDED: Temperatures soar into the upper 50s to low 60s Wednesday and Thursday as we get underneath an upper level ridge. Late week, the ridge moves east and a strong area of low pressure approaches the region. Rain moves into Mid-Missouri late Thursday night into Friday, bringing about 0.25" to 0.5" of total rainfall by Friday night. On the back side of the system, a few flurries will be possible across northern Missouri Saturday morning, with much cooler temperatures expected for the weekend in the lower 40s.
