Tracking another cold night, rain/snow mix on the way Wednesday night into Thursday

TONIGHT: A few passing clouds will slow any major cooling tonight. Don't get us wrong, it will still be cold. Just not as cold as last night. Temperatures drop to ~26 degrees.

WEDNESDAY: Clouds will slowly increase throughout the day as our next storm system takes shape over the Kansas/Oklahoma border. This circulation will bring southerly winds to mid-Missouri giving us a chance to rebound in the temperature department. A bit more moisture in the air will help it feel a little less chilly tomorrow too.

EXTENDED: Rain and snow showers will build from south to north Wednesday night into Thursday morning. A coating of snow on vehicles, grassy and elevated surfaces look to be the greatest impact we see. Roads should remain just wet, especially following sunrise Thursday. On and off rain and snow showers can be expected Thursday with temperatures chilly, in the mid and upper 30s. Some flurries may linger on Friday morning. The weekend looks chilly, in the mid-40s.
