Tracking rain and patchy wintry mix for parts of Mid-Missouri tonight

TONIGHT: Showers likely north of I-70 through mid-evening, with sleet and snow mixing in briefly near Highway 36 through 9PM. Mostly cloudy with warming temperatures overnight in the low 40s.

TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms by afternoon. A few evening storms could be strong south of I-44 with gusty winds. Highs in the low 50s. Rain amounts between 0.5" and 1" expected.

EXTENDED: Showers finally come to an end on Wednesday afternoon with clouds thinning by late afternoon. Temperatures remain in the low 50s. By Thanksgiving, we'll see more sunshine with highs in the mid-upper 50s, followed by a quiet Friday in the low 50s. Over the weekend, another low pressure system could bring rain to the area by Sunday, and much cooler temperatures to start off next week as highs stay in the upper 30s to around 40 on Monday.
