Windy weather drives a warm up through the end of the week

THIS AFTERNOON: More sunshine is on the way this afternoon! However, without the help of southerly winds, temperatures will be a touch cooler today. Highs will only top out in the middle 50’s.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies stick around tonight, with lows falling into the mid to upper 30’s.

EXTENDED: Those breezy conditions return tomorrow with gusts reaching near 25 mph. That will help bump up temperatures into the low 60’s with continued sunshine. We move the mercury even further Thursday, into the low 70’s with those southerly winds keeping up. Clouds will increase Friday with temperatures staying well above average, in the upper 60’s and low 70’s. Rain chances return this weekend as a slow-moving storm system enters the picture. Showers will be possible throughout the weekend, but the better bet looks to be centered around Sunday morning. High pressure will kick those rain chances out for the start of next week, but will bring back cooler temperatures. Highs on Sunday and Monday look to be stuck in the 50’s.
