Tracking cold wind chills, rain late Friday night

TONIGHT: Clouds gradually decrease. Breezy with northwest wind gusts between 20-25 mph. Lows in the upper 20s. Wind chills between 15-22 degrees.

TOMORROW: Cold start to the morning with diminishing winds. Highs in the mid-upper 40s. Clouds increase again by late afternoon.

EXTENDED: Showers move back in by tomorrow night ahead of a cold front that moves through on Saturday, bringing needed rain to much of Mid-Missouri before midnight. A few thunderstorms will be possible Saturday afternoon, especially south of Highway 50, but severe weather isn't expected around our area. Rain moves out Saturday night as the front moves east, leaving us cooler after getting into the low 60s on Saturday. Highs on Sunday will make it to the mid-upper 50s with more sunshine, leading into a pleasant week. Temperatures next week will be seasonable with highs in the mid-50s to around 60 with more sunshine.
