Tracking summer-like warmth this weekend

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and mild with lows near 60.

TOMORROW: Breezy and warm with sunshine. Highs in the low 80s.

EXTENDED: Warmer than average temperatures stick around into the weekend despite some cloud cover on Saturday as the remnants of Hurricane Delta pass to our southeast. Temperatures will remain in the low 80s both Saturday and Sunday, but we remain dry. By Monday, a deep trough digging across the northern Plains will slide by to our north, possibly triggering a few showers or rumbles of thunder on Monday, and bring highs back down into the mid-70s. With the jet stream farther south and fairly zonal most of the week, we're in for another dry stretch for the work week with temperatures a little closer to normal. Highs will reach the low 70s with lows in the low 50s.
