Tracking chilly temperatures and minimal rain this week

TONIGHT: Partly to mostly cloudy with a chance of a sprinkle or two. Breezy with lows in the low 40s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and cool with highs in the low 60s.

EXTENDED: Winds begin to briefly shift to the west in the upper levels of the atmosphere on Tuesday into Wednesday as low pressure moves east, increasing temperatures into the 70s for a short time. A cold front quickly moves in behind, dropping us back into the low 40s for Thursday morning. We'll cool down into the upper 50s and low 60s for Friday, with more sunshine expected. Some places could fall into the upper 30s on Thursday and Friday nights. By the weekend, another disturbance will trail along a cold front on Saturday and Sunday, bringing a chance for rain on both days. Temperatures stay below normal through the weekend into early next week with highs in the low to mid-60s and lows in the low 40s.
