Tracking patchy fog and scattered showers for Friday

TONIGHT: Scattered to spotty showers and mostly cloudy. Patchy fog possible overnight. Lows in the low 60s.

TOMORROW: Foggy morning with scattered showers throughout the day. Highs in the low 70s.

EXTENDED: The front responsible for our wild temperature swings and rounds of rain and clouds this week will begin to lift north Friday night into Saturday, taking much of the precipitation with it. The clearing on Saturday afternoon will allow temperatures to get back into the upper 70s to around 80. As it swings back east Saturday, there could be a few spotty showers by late afternoon with lower humidity by Sunday. We stay dry with temperatures near our seasonal average for much of next week as the jet stream lifts back north of Mid-Missouri and flattens out. We don't see much more in the way of rain at least until the end of next week.
