Tracking a range of temperatures and more rain late this week

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with a spot shower or storm south of I-70. Lows ranging from the upper 40s north to mid-60s south.

TOMORROW: Partly to mostly cloudy with lower humidity. Highs in the mid-upper 70s.

EXTENDED: The cold front responsible for a big spread in temperatures this week along with scattered storms will push south out of the area by Thursday, leaving us slightly cooler than average with highs in the mid-70s. An upper low pressure system will begin pushing moisture out across the Plains Wednesday and Thursday, and the associated cold front at the surface will move into Mid-Missouri on Friday and Saturday, giving us our best chances for rain and storm coverage of the week. Storms are most likely on Saturday, with temperatures cooling back into the upper 50s for lows behind the front on Saturday night. Sunday looks dry at this point along with quiet weather expected to start out next week. Temperatures look to be a few degrees cooler than normal into next Monday and Tuesday.
