Tracking heat and humidity, isolated storms through the weekend

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and muggy with lows near 70. Patchy fog possible by morning.

TOMORROW: Partly to mostly sunny with an isolated shower or storm possible. Highs in the upper 80s, heat indices between 93-94.

EXTENDED: The heat and humidity hang on for the rest of the work week into the weekend as temperatures remain in the upper 80s to around 90. With dew points in the 70s, that will yield heat index values between 93-95. isolated storms are possible each afternoon, with more organized storms likely staying outside of Mid-Missouri. By the end of the weekend, cooler and drier air starts to slide south from Canada, bringing more fall like weather to start off next week. Highs will reach the upper 70s to around 80 with lower humidity and little rain.
