Tracking more sunshine, warmer temperatures Thursday

TONIGHT: Clouds gradually clear and winds hold steady between 10-20 mph. Expect gusts between 25-30 mph. Lows in the mid-upper 50s.

TOMORROW: Clouds clear before sunrise, leaving us with sunshine and light winds. Highs in the low 80s.

EXTENDED: We end the week with much more tranquil weather than what we started with as temperatures climb back to near normal on Thursday. By Friday, a weak boundary will slide through the area, increasing clouds a bit and perhaps producing a shower or two by late afternoon. Friday temperatures reach the mid-80s, but behind the front we clear out into Saturday, leaving us a touch cooler and brighter for the weekend. Saturday and Sunday should feature plenty of sunshine and highs near 80, along with lower humidity. Next week, we start off dry, but begin to gradually warm up as upper level high pressure builds over us. Expect highs to reach the mid-upper 80s by the middle of the week.
