Tracking the last of the rain followed by beautiful Friday

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with steady showers. Rain amounts could get up to 0.5". Lows in the upper 50s.

TOMORROW: Clouds clear early, leaving us with sunshine and lower humidity. Highs in the mid-70s.

EXTENDED: Northwest winds keep humidity at bay this weekend, but could also bring in a fast moving disturbance late on Saturday for the northern half of the state. This likely will spell more clouds and a few showers for our northern tier of counties, but outside of that we're looking at a beautiful weekend with highs in the mid-70s. Sunshine returns Sunday and lasts into much of next week as upper level high pressure builds over the Midwest. Highs will gradually climb into the 80s Monday and Tuesday and potentially up to near 90 by mid-week with minimal chances for rain until late next week, if at all.
