Stress-free holiday travel forecast for Mid-Missouri

After a wintry start to this week, the snow continues to melt, and it will feel more like spring across Mid-Missouri and much of the country through early next week.

Locally, we have a quiet weekend for travel with clouds moving out by Saturday morning, and temperatures rising into the mid-50s by Sunday.

Across the country, the most active weather will be through the Southeast, where showers and storms are expected both Saturday and Sunday. Severe weather chances will be limited, but there could be a couple of strong storms across southern Florida Sunday afternoon.

Monday is still very mild for much of the Midwest, with more active weather approaching from the west for Christmas Eve. Snow accumulation will be possible across the Rockies while rain chances increase across the Southwest. For us, we stay dry in Mid-Missouri with temperatures rising into the upper 50s.
