Veterans United 2023 ‘Bright Lights/Holiday Nights’ drive-through display starts on Tuesday

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Veterans United is kicking off its 2023 Bright Lights/Holiday Nights drive-through display on Tuesday.

The Holiday light show is free to the public and will run from Tuesday through Dec. 17. The show will run each evening from 7:00 to 10:30 p.m. at 550 Veterans United Drive.

According to a press release from Veterans United, the Columbia Police Department will be helping staff with traffic flow for the light display.

Traffic from South Providence Road will be restricted from turning east onto Veterans United Drive while the event is underway each night. Veterans United Drive can be accessed from State Farm Parkway.

The driving route is about a mile long around the business’ location. The release states that those looking to attend will not be allowed to stop or exit their vehicles.

Event organizers say that the early evening hours are the shows' busiest times, and suggest showing up later in the evening to avoid traffic.
