QUESTION OF THE DAY: Should the minimum wage be higher?

The minimum wage in Missouri will go up on Jan. 1.

But the increase will be the lowest in more than five years.

After five years of voter-mandated 85-cent annual increases, Missouri's minimum wage will go up 30 cents -- a level determined by the increase in the cost of living. That will bring Missouri's minimum to $12.30 per hour.

Do you think it's high enough? Vote in the poll.
