Bus driver shortage causes Go COMO to combine routes Friday

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Due to a shortage of available drivers, Go COMO will combine bus routes on Friday, according to a press release from the City of Columbia.

As part of the route combining schedule, the green route will do initial pickups along its partial route starting at 6:20 a.m. The gold route will do initial pickups along its partial route starting at 6:26 a.m. The black route start initial pickups at 6:30 a.m.

Each of these three buses will arrive at Wabash Bus Station at 6:40 a.m., when they will change designations to red, blue and orange, respectively. 

The red, blue, and orange routes will leave Wabash Bus Station at 6:45 a.m. After completing the routes, busses will return to Wabash Bus Station at 7:25 a.m., when they will change their designations back to green, gold and black.

Buses will continue to alternate designations for the remainder of the day and will conclude service at 6:40 p.m.

Busses will then be on a normal schedule Saturday. Normal weekday routes will occur Monday.
