Over 20 employers set to attend job fair in Columbia Thursday

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Multiple organizations in Columbia will partner to hold a job fair Thursday for local employers and job seekers.

The job fair is set to take place from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Armory Sports and Recreation Center (ARC) at 701 E. Ash St. The fair is free and open for the public to attend.

Attendees may register through the city's website, however, walk-ins are also welcome.

In total, 22 employers are set to attend the job fair to meet with job seekers. Many employers plan to conduct on-site interviews.

The City of Columbia, Swift Prepared Foods, Boone County Joint Communications, and the Holiday Inn Executive Center are among the employers expected to attend the fair.

Groups partnering to host the fair include the Source Summit, the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, the Missouri Job Center of Columbia, Regional Economic Development Inc., and the City of Columbia.
