Two injured after crash on Highway 22 overpass at Highway 63

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Gale Blomenkamp, assistant chief with the Boone County Fire Protection District, says there are two people injured after a wreck closed the Highway 22 overpass at North Highway 63 in Boone County.

The overpass reopened just after 9 p.m.

Boone County Joint Communications reported the crash just after 7:50 p.m.

Drivers should avoid the area if possible.

In a second communication from BCJC, officials are reporting bridges and overpasses in northern Boone County are becoming slick.

Officials are asking drivers to be cautious.
