COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Columbia man is back in the Boone County Jail after fleeing Columbia to Oklahoma on several charges dating back to December 2020.

Jemor Taylor is charged with third-degree assault, first-degree property damage, second-degree sexual abuse, third-degree kidnapping and resisting arrest for a felony.

Taylor was arrested on Dec. 5, 2020, and had his bond set for $50,000. A bonding agent posted a surety bond on Dec. 7. Taylor was scheduled to appear on Dec. 30 but failed to appear according to online court records.

Taylor was arrested on May 6 and the Boone County court ordered of extradition from the state.

Taylor now has a $50,000 cash only bond.
