Firefighter taken to a hospital out of precaution after fighting Boone County fire
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Boone County Fire is on scene of a fire incident in Boone County.
Boone County Joint Communications reports that Route K between Sabine Dr and Scott Blvd is closed due to a fire incident.
Officials report there was no one at the residence.
Crews on scene report issues with the hoses due to the water freezing. Officials say they had to unhook the hoses and chip away at the ice.
One fire fighter was taken to a local hospital out of precaution.
