COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The state health department reported more than 2,700 new COVID-19 cases in Missouri on Sunday morning.

MDHSS also added 4 new deaths.

The additions bring the total COVID-19 case count to 423,327 and death count to 5,948.

2,700 people are currently hospitalized with the virus in Missouri.
