Resident in critical condition after being rescued from house fire in Hallsville

The Boone County Fire Protection says a 68-year-old Columbia man, Charles D. Tolentino, was killed as a result of a Hallsville house fire on Jan. 5.

HALLSVILLE, Mo. (KMIZ)

A residential fire in Hallsville leads to 13 trucks responding on the 10100 block of Hague.

An ABC 17 News crew is reporting the fire is out.

Officials speaking with ABC 17 say a resident was trapped upstairs in the house. Crews had to do CPR on site and he was taken to University Hospital in critical condition.

Crews from Boone County fire, Boone County EMS, MU EMS and Hallsville responded to the fire.

No word on what caused the fire.

ABC 17 News will have more information on the fire as it becomes available.
