Body found in Valley Park, Mo. connected to Columbia case

VALLEY PARK, Mo. (KMIZ)

Police in St. Louis County report they found a body they say is connected to a Columbia case.

Police tell us it found the body in Valley Park, a suburb 20 minutes southwest of St. Louis

Detectives found a person dead in a truck at Marshall Road and 7th in Valley Park this afternoon.

St. Louis County Police say the investigation was handed over to Columbia police.

Columbia Police Chief Geoff Jones said he had no comment on the investigation.
