Troop F responds to more than 200 calls Sunday, including fatality in Callaway County

The Missouri State Highway Patrol's Troop F responded to a deadly crash and more than 200 other calls for service during a winter storm on Sunday.

The fatal crash occurred at Highway 94 and Route C near Mokane in Callaway County, according to the MSHP central district's Twitter.

According to the crash report, Nathan Clingman, 18, of Steedman, was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators said his vehicle slid off the south side of the road and overturned around 12:10 p.m.

According to the crash report, Clingman was not wearing a seat belt.

Through 8 p.m., troopers in Troop F responded to 232 calls, 90 crashes, 92 slide-offs and reported four injuries other than the fatality.

Officials said across the state, troopers responded to 1,668 calls for service, 525 stranded drivers, 559 crashes, 53 injury crashes, four weather-related deaths and two non-weather related deaths.
