NEW ORLEANS (KMIZ)

Starting Wednesday afternoon, football fans are diving in the NFL's Super Bowl experience in New Orleans.

New Orleans resident and Kansas City Chiefs fan Dan Seyl says he loves the experience.

"It's amazing. I mean, we love coming here. You get to meet players, see the Lombardi Trophy, there's all the activities."

Seyl said him and his wife Jessica, who is originally from Missouri, came to see the setup for the College Football National Championship when it was in New Orleans. The couple says they are excited to support the Chief's in the big game on Sunday.

"We've been Chiefs fans forever because we're from the Midwest," Jessica Seyl said. "I remember taking my 22-year-old when she was a baby to the Chiefs games."

The defending champion Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

Throughout the event Chiefs and Eagles fans have the chance to view bedazzled NFL helmets, snap a photo with the Lombardi trophy and run interactive drills including kicking a field goal.

Eagles fan Tony Garczynski attended the Super Bowl experience with his daughter and two grandsons.

"I think the Eagles are ready, should be ready," Garczynski said. "Jalen Hurts MVP."

Kansas City Chiefs fan Dwight Pleasant says New Orleans is a great place to bring people together for the Super Bowl.

"My wife always says music always brings people together but so does sports," sports and music do bring people together, in a good way."

The Super Bowl Experience runs from through Saturday at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The experience will be open from 3-10 p.m. on Wednesday through Friday. On Saturday, it will be open from 10 a.m.-10 p.m.
