ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMIZ)

FanDuel Sports Network, formerly known as Bally Sports, will remain the home of St. Louis Cardinals baseball. The professional sports franchise has signed a new multi-year contract renewal with Diamond Sports Group for the television and digital rights to all games, excluding contests that will exclusively be nationally televised.

"We are pleased to enhance and expand our long-term partnership with Diamond and FanDuel Sports Network Midwest," Cardinals President Bill DeWitt III said in Thursday's press release. "We valued the continuity for our fans of staying on the same network as the Blues, and we are excited that we will now be able to expand access to our games and other great Cardinals content across multiple platforms next year."

According to the press release, FanDuel Sports Network subscribers will have a direct-to-consumer (DTC) streaming option for games in the extensive Cardinals television territory. Additionally, games will continue to be broadcasted live on FanDuel Sports Network Midwest, previously known as Bally Sports Midwest.

"We are excited about deepening our relationship with the Cardinals and expanding our reach by delivering games to fans on a DTC basis," CEO of Diamond Sports Group David Preschlack said in the press release. "As we progress towards emergence from bankruptcy, we remain committed to providing fans in the Midwest region with high quality broadcasts through our linear and digital offerings and meeting fans where they are in the evolving viewership model."

Streaming subscription pricing will be announced at a later date.
