Pujols, Goldschmidt split NL player of the week honor

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMIZ)

Albert Pujols and Paul Goldschmidt were named National League co-players of the week on Monday after the Cardinals won seven straight games last week.

During the stretch, Pujols batted .615 with three home runs, seven RBI's and an on-base percentage of 1.974.

This is Goldschmidt's third player of the week honor this season. Last week his average was .542 with 11 total RBI's and an on-base percentage of 1.613.

The Cardinals will be back in action Monday night at 7 p.m. against the Cubs.
