Cardinals fall in game/series against Dodgers

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMIZ)

With Thursday's shut out 4-0 loss, the St. Louis Cardinals fall in the home series 2-1 against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Dakota Hudson was on the hill for the Red Birds allowing four earned runs on six hits in just over six innings.

St. Louis struggled to get the bats moving Thursday with just five hits total on the day, two from Dylan Carlson, two from Nolan Arenado and one from Paul Goldschmidt.

Up next - St. Louis will stay at Busch Stadium for a divisional series with the Reds starting Friday at 7:15 p.m.
